摘要

Information leakage on cryptographic devices are possible because of the correlation between the processed data and its power/electromagnetic emissions. And therefore, a logic styles with constant power consumption are promising solution to counteract side-channel analysis (SCA) attacks. In this paper, we evaluate the security merit of the previously proposed CSSAL implementation in a multiplier over GF(24) and an 8-bit AES S-box circuit. The supply current transitions in time domain and frequency spectrum analysis in frequency domain are both investigated, in order to verify the effectiveness of the proposed CSSAL logic resistance against SCA attacks.
