MINERAL RESOURCE BASE OF RUSSIA IN CONDITIONS OF ECONOMIC GLOBALIZATION

The role and position of the world and Russian mineral resource bases (MRB) in globalization as a political-economic category have not been determined clearly though each economist or politician when considering the problem of globalization means the nature-resource component first of all.At the same time, development of globalization - not as an idea or scientific category but as reality of the present day - picks up speed and arouses not only positive but also negative social-political emotions in various parts of the world.Leaving out details let us make an attempt to cover only general points of the problem not touching upon political aspects as well as the problem of expediency (inexpediency) of economic globalization for countries with different social and economic structures and correspondingly with different visions of the problem formed under the influence of this or that state of the market leaving them for a more detailed analysis.
