Smooth Renyi Entropy and Resolvability

摘要

This paper deals with resolvability problem of general sources, and establishes a new unified method for resolvability problem of general sources. Specifically, we introduce an alternative definition of smooth Renyi entropy of order zero, and show a unified approach to present the resolvability in terms of this information quantity. Further, we also represent δ-resolvability of general sources and the strong converse property in terms of the smooth Renyi entropy.
