摘要

Recently, research of ITS (Intelligent Transport Systems) is performed for a way easing traffic congestion. In the many cases, the cause of it is supposed to be a crossing where traffic is controlled by traffic light. As a solution to this problem, ADS (Advance Demand Signals scheme) which controls a traffic light by passing vehicles has been proposed. However it is assumed that this system correctly obtains the relative distance among vehicles and the signal through the information from vehicles. This paper discusses application of road-to-vehicle communication and ranging system using spread spectrum technique to ADS. We confirm that the signal can demodulate the information of the target vehicle and can measure the distance between itself and the target vehicle using this system.
