摘要

This publication presents results from the Finite Element Method (FEM) analysis of magnetic screening system for a single-phase flat pickup. Various configurations of the shield were designed based on the existing screen and their performances were compared. It was concluded that for the same shield design the screening effect varies in different orientations and it is possible for some shield designs or in certain orientations to achieve as much as 30% decrease in maximum magnetic flux density, 59% increase in rate of decline of magnetic flux density and 59% decrease in power loss.
