The results of the first stages, of reconstruction of concentrating plant at Uchalinsky mining and concentrating works

Reconstruction of the basic production facilities was carried out at the concentrating plant of Uchalinsky mining and concentrating works during 2000-2002. RIF 45, RIF 25 and RIF 8.5 flotators were mounted, thermal pulp processing in the lime medium before zinc flotation was put into practice, additional comminution of chamber product of the 1st zinc cleaning is envisaged etc. Owing to it, the main technological parameters in concentration of copper-zinc ores were increased, operating expenses and cost of products were decreased.
