VISART{sup}TM/EX MRI system featuring full lineup of fast-scan techniques

MRI systems are widely used to obtain cross-sectional images and vascular images of the human body. In recent years, there have been increasing expectations on finding new clinical applications and improving the quality and efficiency of diagnosis through fast-scan techniques.To meet these requirements, we have enhanced the gradient system of VISART{sub}TM and developed a new 1.5T MRI system, the VISART{sub}TM /Ex. Utilizing the high performance of the gradient system, the VISART{sub}TM /Ex features two fast-scan techniques:FastASE (Fast Advanced Spin Echo), a highly recognized technique in the VISART{sub}TM system and Single-Shot EPI (Echo Planar Imaging), the newest fast-scan technique.
