摘要

IHI has developed the flue gas desulfurization system using magnesium hydroxide process, which was applied to the various types of power plants. The desulfurization and dust removal efficiency as well as wastewater characteristics and load response features were confirmed. The efficiency and load response feature are the same as those of the flue gas desulfurization system of the sodium process. Waste water characteristics including COD, SS and pH satisfies the environmental regulations. The simultaneous adsorption and oxidization of the new process is more economical than the separate process type in absorption and oxidization. IHI now has two useful desulfurization systems using magnesium hydroxide process. This allows corresponding to various customers' needs.
