Keynote Speech 1：Prospects for Medicine and Medical Devices in Japan

The title of my speech, which was proposed by Professor Takeuchi, the organizer of this symposium, is Prospects for Medicine and Medical Devices in Japan. Professor Takeuchi also asked me to speak about the Investigator Initiated Clinical Trial (IICT) in this country. So, I will be trying to speak about all those issues within the 20 minutes allocated to me.
