'Whispering gallery' model dielectric resonators applications for microwave oscillator frequency stabilization

摘要

This paper deals with some applications of "whispering gallery"* mode dielectric resonators made from low loss anisotropic material for microwave oscillator frequency stabilization. A number of low phase noise oscillator schemes are discussed with their limit noise characteristics point of view. A method of long time frequency stability improvement based on use of a frequency-temperature coefficient difference at different resonant modes is described.
