Double two-switch forward soft-switching PWM DC-DC converter with two independent controlled output channels

摘要

A new two output channels with independent control in each channel circuit variant of the presented early double two-switch forward soft-switching PWM DC-DC converter using the tapped inductor filter is presented in this paper. This new DC-DC converter has advantages as wide soft-switching operation range under load variations and PWM regulations, lowered level of the idle and circulating currents through circuit components and power devices. Its control and operation principles are described here; practical effectiveness of this circuit configuration is verified on the basis of the simulation analysis.
