Understanding support of object-oriented framework using interactive presentation with its regular usage

Application software with object-oriented frameworks are developed by customizing abstract elements (hot spot) provided as abstraction classes and virtual functions. To customize a framework appropriately, it is necessary to understand the architecture that is the framework designer's intention and the cost is high. We focus on that understanding of customization methods (usage of a framework) which the framework designer assumes to be regular is effective in understanding of the designer s intention. In this paper, we define a formal language for regular customization method and argue the user can be supported to understand the framework by presenting information which adapt to the required application program.
