The Actual Conditions of Agrochemical Usage and the Achievement of the Alternative Technologies in Northern Thailand

Thailand is famous for its agricultural production and export to the world. According to the FAO [1], Thailand is the 15th largest food exporting and 8th largest net food exporting country in the world; exporting 8,167 million US dollar of agricultural products and 5,191 million US dollar of the net agricultural trade value in 2002. Focused on the agricultural bilateral trade with Japan, Thailand is 5th largest trading partner for Japan, exporting 379,921 million yen to Japan in 2005.
