The Effect of Rural Theme Village Program on Non-Farm Income in Korea

Public programs are designed to achieve implementation objectives and intended outcomes. Identifying whether the program accomplishes the intended goals and beneficiaries demonstrates whether the program not only utilizes implementing agencies' capability and financial affairs effectively, but also enhances public welfare and social advancement. In this sense, an increasing demand for social benefit necessitates evaluation on intended outcomes and institutionalization on program evaluation model withlaying stress on ex-post evaluation and feedback process.
