In grain sorghum, improving drought tolerance is a primary objective of plant breeders in dry regions. Delayed leaf senescence trait (stay-green) explored to improve terminal drought tolerance. Identifying the threshold that induces effect and differentiates between genotypes is poorly studied. This experiment was carried out to identify the threshold of the tolerance of advance stay-green lines and to examine the performance of stay-green lines with one, two or three stay-green QTLs.
