摘要

This paper describes a methodology for optimum determination of failure rate and repair time for each component of a radial distribution system. Objective function is selected as to minimize the increased cost which is a function of change in failure rate and repair time. The objective function has been minimized subject to satisfaction of reliability constraints as average failure rates at each end load points, average interruption time and average annual interruption time. The problem has been solved using particle swarm optimization technique. Results have been obtained for a sample radial distribution system.
