摘要

This paper describes a methodology for obtaining failure probability of a transmission network with the help of cut-set method of reliability evaluation. Further the method accounts the loadability of the network from voltage stability consideration viewpoint. Specifically the methodology calculates the probabilistic risk of voltage collapse for a specific load on the system. Static voltage stability limit for different configurations of the network have been obtained using continuation power flow program. The methodology has been implemented on a 6-bus, 7-line system.
