摘要

The aim of this project is to help physically handicapped people to move freely to a smaller distance by their own. In this system IR sensor is used to detect eyeball movement by virtue of which wheelchair moves to right, left and forward direction. This method is based on absorption and reflection phenomenon of light. Values generated by IR sensor are given as input to the microcontroller ATMEGA16 which consist of in built analog to digital converter. The system is tested on the prototype of wheelchair.
