摘要

With the advent of bio-medical instrumentation in the field of medicine, the entire patient treatment process has been completely revolutionzed. Computer and other intelligent microcontroller systems are now being used adequately in this field for efficient treatment of the patients. This system is just a prototype of a SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition System), uses a master controller that communicates with the end devices and controls a number of RTUs. It is devised for doctors and nurses for keeping a close view of patients those are in critical condition. Here the doctor sitting in any comer of the hospital can monitor the condition of up to 8 patients. The data of various parameters such as Temperature, Blood pressure, pulse rate. ECO etc can be acquired. This system supervises 8 different parameters of a patient or a single parameter of 8 patients at a time.
