摘要

A novel design using a single chip dual operational amplifier, for determining the position of x-ray incidence in an ionizing chamber with RC-line Position Sensitive Proportional Counters (PSPCs), used in small-angle x-ray scattering experiments, has been described in this paper. Development, operation and performance of a compact inexpensive dual low noise preamplifier is reported. The fabricated design was tested with ORDELA make RC-line PSPC and found to have excellent linearity and spatial resolution comparable with the other available benchmark designs.
