The pulsed-laser polymerization of acrylic photocurable adhesives has been investigated by following the fluorescence emission of several commercial and non commercial probes inserted in the system. Photopolymerization profiles, rates of polymerization, and the effect of the laser pulse intensity and frequency on the kinetics of the reaction have been studied. (C) 2004 Elsevier B.V.
