PPG has introduced PPG HI-TEMP 808 liquid insulation, a seamless composite material designed as an economical, easy-to-apply alternative to conventional mechanical insulation, according to the firm. Versatile enough for use on steel, stainless steel, galvanized steel and non-ferrous metals, PPG HI-TEMP 808 liquid insulation helps reduce energy use, enhance process stability and minimize the risk of corrosion under insulation (CUI) by providing a water-tight, anti-condensation seal on process equipment and piping at temperatures up to 350° E.
