Mobile robot architecture in intelligent space

摘要

We propose a concept for constructing an intelligent mobile system, stating why a new mobile architecture is needed in intelligent space. Intelligent space is expected to be an authentic future environment. Intelligent space is a room or area with sensors, a network, and computers. If the environment gets intelligence, it is no long a distinct part of an intelligent mobile system and the mobile system becomes a physical agent of intelligent space. Our experiments show what is possible for a mobilerobot in intelligent space.
