摘要

Bees and plants are innately interdependent for each other's survival, Bees derive food in the form of nectar and pollen from plants and plants in turn receive the benefit of pollination service. Bees are the best pollinators of many agricultural andhorticultural crops and play a significant role in the fertilization of flowers and improvement of quality and quantity of yield. Bees and plants help each other in sustaining their natural abundance and rich bio-diversity. Beneficial eco-friendly beesshould be protected and promoted for meeting the pollination requirements of bee flora. Any possible destruction of delicately balanced mutual bee-flower relationship by the way of poisoning of bee flora and killing of bee pollinators is ecologically catastrophic and economically disastrous, eventually resulting in the gradual extinction of both bee fauna and flora.
