摘要

We have investigated the effect of the background thermal motion on the knock-on ion production and the neutron energy spectrum in deuteron-triton (D-T) fusion plasma. Under the conditions of a typical tokamak D-T plasma, it turned out that the effect is not crucial. Accordingly, it was found that the knock-on ion source strength formulated previously by Ryutov, Helander and Lisak is valid for D-T fusion plasma. The finite temperature effect would become important in knock-on ion production in D-He-3 fusion plasma.
