This column is one of series of case-based discussions illustrating basic principles of clinical psychopharma-cology relevant to optimal patient care. After reading the case presentation, readers may want to take a moment to consider how they might have managed the patient. I will then describe what was done, the outcome, and important take-home points from my perspective.
