Liberty-Alpha III J.V., LLC (Campbell, OH) secured a contract valued at $74,849,999.48 from the Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development to repair, clean, and recoat structural steel surfaces on the Huey Long Bridge, a 5,879-foot long continuous steel truss through deck bridge over the Mississippi River in Baton Rouge, LA. Not to be confused with the Huey Long Bridge in Jefferson Parish, LA, this bridge was opened in 1940 and carries four lanes of US-190 traffic and a Kansas City Southern rail line over the river.
