Chest wall mesenchymal hamartoma.

Case presentation:A 3608 g infant was bom at 38 weeks gestation to a gravida 2, para 0 mother. The neonate had apgars of 9 at 1 and 5 min. A 3 x 3 cm posterior firm mass was present over the upper left chest. A chest radiograph (Figure 1) and chest computed tomography (CT; Figure 2) were obtained. The patient was taken to the operating room and the chest wall mass was resected.
