Psychostimulants remain first-line treatment options for the management of attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). A multilayer extended-release bead methylphenidate capsule (provisional name Aptensio XR (TM), MPH-MLR) with unique release properties is being investigated for the treatment of ADHD.
