Hysteroscopic Aspects of Endometrial Ossification

Endometrial ossification is a rare disease sometimes associated with infertility, pelvic pain, and menstrual irregularity [1]. This condition coudl be due to fetal bones retained after a miscarriage or endometrial mature stromal cell metaplasia [2]. Diagnosis and treatment are generally made by hystero-scopy [3]. A 71-year-old woman with abnormal endometrial thickness was admitted to the hysteroscopic unit. A previous miscarriage with dilatation and curettage and no irregular cycles or postmenopausal bleeding were reported.
