Angioleiomyoma is an uncommon benign tumor that originates from the smooth muscle and often involves the lower extremities and the head and neck region [1]. The World Health Organization classification of female genital tumors takes into account several variants of leiomyoma; however, angiomyoma is not included [2]. Typically, this tumor is a solitary, slow-growing, firm, and nodular formation [3]. At sites other than the extremities and head, the female genital tract is rarely involved [4-7]. A 41-year-old nulliparous woman reported abnormal uterine bleeding. At trans vaginal ultrasonography, a 54 X 36-mm heterogeneous mass was observed between the uterus and the right adnexa, which was well-demarcated and contained microanechoic areas suggestive of vascular shadow (Fig. 1A). Results of laboratory tests including serum tumor markers CA-125 and CA 19-9 were within normal limits.
