Study on Zooplankton production with the application of pig dung biogas slurry

摘要

The present study described to evaluate the effect of pig effluent biogas slurry on water quality and zooplankton production. No significant effect on physico-chemical properties of water were observed though zooplankton population was significant inall the treated cistern. The highest (2550 nos/l.) with a population of 2480 and 1680 nos/l. respectively, whereas, control showed only 480 no/l. of Zooplankton.
