摘要

The ionization of H_2~+ in the strong UV laser pulse is studied by numerically solving the time-dependent Schr?dinger equation. In analogy to Young's double-slit interference, the ionized electron originating from two nuclei will constructively, or destructively interfere, depending on the UV frequencies. The fluctuation of the ionization rate as a function of the laser frequency is observed. The destructive interference suppresses the single-photon ionization rate, so that the double-photon ionization rate can be larger than the single-photon ionization rate. When such an ionization-rate inversion happens, the electron momentum spectra splits into several peaks.
