摘要

The acute toxicity experiments designed during the various phases of breeding cycle of the test fish Wallago attu (Sch.) showed well marked seasonal variations in the toxicity due to sugar mill effluents of UPSCS. The pattern of mortality for LC50 was some what different in the post-spawning phase in the fish population. The toxicity and bioassay tests were conducted for establishing the acute toxicity of sugar mill effluents of UPSCS to fishes under standard static condition.
