Reading and comprehension of materials of the fundamental work of the prominent modern science historian and evolutionist Yu.V.Chaikovskii who analyzes,compares,and generalizes evolutionary viewpoints of outstanding scientists from antiquity to our time is not the simple and not the fast matter.In writing the review of Yu.V.Chaikovskii's monograph,we were stimulated by that while addressed not only to specialists in evolution of the living,but also to teachers,students,and school children and meriting a wide discussion and the corresponding publication volume,this book unfortunately is almost unknown to the wide circle of potential readers.
