摘要

The study of this paper to investigate the effects of heat and mass transfer on an unsteady magnetohydrodynamicfree convective chemical reacting fluid flow of a viscous incompressible fluid past an infinitevertical accelerated plate embedded in porous medium with constant heat flux in the presenceof transverse magnetic field. The governing equations are solved by Galerkin finite element method. The results are obtained for velocity, temperature, concentration, Skinfriction, Nusseltnumber and Sherwood number. The effects of different flow parameters on the flow variables are discussed and presented through graphs and tables. The numerical results for particular cases were compared with the available solution in the literature and the results are found to be in good agreement.
