The current popularity of herbal medicines requires that reliable information in this sector be disseminated to the public to minimize harm and maximize benefit. Currently, there are only very few such sources of information aimed at the public. Instead, we have a plethora of seriously misleading texts. In the interest of public health, we need reliable, unbiased, and easily accessible information.
