Trading activity keeps increasing in the Azov-Black Sea freight market in early November. Demand both for sea-river and small DWT sea-going vessels keeps growing in the basin. The number of available ships has dropped significantly in the spot market, so shipowners are actively pushing freight rates up. In this situation, many charterers have chosen to take a wait-and-see attitude, while those who cannot postpone shipments have to agree on higher rates.
