We are serious, very serious. "At the same conference the Acting Assistant Secretary of Labor (Acting OSHA Director) Jordan Barab said 'Standard setting is ailing. We have a lot of catching up to do with standards. The days are over for delayed standards setting and signing too many superficial industry and association alliances. We want strong protective standards that make sense. The lack of standards in recent years has impacted OSHA credibility. "
