Can nerves be moved specifically? Implications for therapy of the fascial system

Neurodynamic technique, or passive movement of nerves relative to their fascial and tendinous counterparts is arelatively uninvestigated subject. Hence, a question is whether neurodynamic technique can be performed so that fascia, tendon or nerve tissue can be moved specifically or preferentially (Shacklock, 2005).With the use of certain limb and spinal movements, longitudinal forces can be applied to fascia, tendons and nerves so that nerves can be moved relative to the local fascia and tendons.
