Home is a magnet. After a hard day at work or school or even a vacation, just the thought of being home is a comfort. How strong is, the attachment to home? Well, think about Dorothy or E.T. As much as they loved the new people they met, Dorothy and E.T. just wanted to go home. When watching The Wizard of Oz (1939) and E.T.: The Extra-Terrestrial (1982), many of us shed a tear for home.
