Six New Species of the Leafhopper Genus Pagaronia (Auchenorrhyneha, Cicadellidae, Evacanthinae) from Japan

Six new species of the genus Pagaronia from Japan are described and figured; they are P. amamiensis from the Ryukyus (Amami-Oshima Is. and Tokunoshima Is.), P. immaculata from central Honshu (Kyoto), P. gigantea from central Honshu (Saitama, Tokyo, Chiba and Kanagawa), P. aizu from northern Honshu (Miyagi and Fukushima), P. yoshidai from central Honshu (Gumma and Nagano), and P. takaii from Shikoku (Kochi).
