Description of the Male of Metallidascillus wakaharai (Coleoptera, Dascillidae)

The male of Metallidascillus wakaharai SATO is first recorded. Brief description and illustration of male genitalia are given. In a recent paper on the Metallidascillus species, SATO (2005) has just wrote that "I cannot explain why, but all the specimens before me are only females". Though Sato described three species of the genus Metallidascillus from Taiwan and Laos (SATO, 2003, 2005; SATO, Li & LEE, 2004; SATO & Osawa, 2001), male specimen has not been obtained.
