New Cixiidae (Hemiptera, Auchenorrhyncha) from the Ryukyus, Japan

One new genus, one new subgenus and four new species of the family Cixiidae are described from the Ryukyus, Japan: Andixius nupta gen. et sp. n., Dystheatias mangrov-eicus sp.n. - type species of Dystheratus subgen.n., Neocarpia okinawana sp.n., and Kirbyana pacifica sp.n. The distribution of 13 cixiid species known to the Ryukyus is reviewed.
