A New Species of the Genus Condylostylus from Japan (Diptera, Dolichopodidae)

A new species, Condylostylus itoi is described from western Japan. It is similar to C. victorisetae from Sumatra, differing mainly in certain bristles. Up to the present, three dolichopodid species belonging to the genus Condylostylus have been recorded from Japan (viz., C. nebulosus MATSUMURA, C. luteicoxa PARENT and C. japonicus KASAGI). In the present paper I add one new species of Condylostylus to the Japanese fauna. All the type materials of new species will be deposited in the collection of the Entomological Laboratory, University of Osaka Prefecture, Sakai.
