A New Species of the Genus Molipteryx from Japan (Hemiptera, Coreidae)

A new species of the genus Molipteryx from Japan is described and illustrated. A key to the Japanese Molipteryx species is also provided. The genus Molipteryx KIRITSHENKO, 1916 is a small genus in the tribe Mictini, comprising three species (AUKEMA and RIEGER, 2006). HSIAO (1964) treated this genus as a synonym of the genus Derepteryx A. WHITE, 1839 without description. Later, O'SHEA and SCHAEFER (1978) treated this genus as a good genus and gave a systematic discussion on Molipteryx and Derepteryx.
