Editors note: It is always difficult to do justice to a three-day forum featuring dozens of speakers covering a wide array of topics in a limited space such as FOCUS. The 2004 World Agricultural Forum (WAF) held this week here in St. Louis was no exception. The WAF is the only neutral, inclusive forum that allows the comprehensive discussion and examination of current and developing domestic and global agricultural policy. It brings together global leaders and decision makers from all facets of agriculture -finance, research, production, technology, government, processing, distribution, consumers, academia, public policy, manufacturing, and advocacy.
