Filtration flows from building foundation pits enclosed by Joukowski tongues were investigated in (see, for example, reviews). In certain cases, it is assumed that the water-permeable soil layer has an unlimited capacity and, in other cases, the underlying strongly permeable pressure water-bearing horizon is modeled by one or two horizontal drains in the form of a drainage Joukowski slot. In a number of cases, the free filtration, i.e., that without backwater, was studied, while in, pressure filtration was studied; i.e., the free-surface presence is neglected. In, infiltration was disregarded. For the solution, the Joukowski function and the Vedernikov-Pavlovskii method are used, which reduce the problem to a conformal map of rectilinear polygons with the subsequent use of the Christoffel-Schwarz formula.
