Influence of the Velocity Profile on the Properties of Equations Averaged over the Cross Section for the Liquid Flow in Flexible-Wall Tubes

The set of averaged equations for a viscous incompressible liquid flow in flexible tubes and the influence of the velocity profile on the system properties are investigated. In particular, the investigation into the stability of time-independent solutions of these equations relative to small perturbations showed that the results of the investigation radically depend on the velocity profile used for averaging.
