摘要

The resonance radiation absorption in an expanding gas medium was studied. The probability of the resonance radiation leaving and radiation spectral characteristics as functions of both the velocity gradient and the optical thickness of the medium was determined. The expansion of a gas sphere into a vacuum stipulated by a local energy release is described by the self-similar solution. It is shown that, the radiation absorption in the gas medium is reduced. This fact is associated with the Doppler shift of the absorption frequency, which is caused by the expansion of the medium. The defining factor of the process is the relation between the optical thickness of the steady state medium and the quantity, transparent of the medium occurs.
